Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barrie Kennedy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wellingborough AFC's Camron Hinshelwood got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ross Hart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jerome Mulford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paignton FC's Shawn McGurk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Paignton FC from getting a goal against them. Paignton FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chesney Chapman in the 22nd minute. A hard shot 25 in the game by Barrie Kennedy from a close distance when the talented Shawn McGurk managed to make a qualified save. Paignton FC's players were relieved. Jerome Mulford came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Paignton FC's Ross Hart. But to his dismay, Ross Hart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Camron Hinshelwood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Shawn McGurk made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Ross Hart notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wellingborough AFC's Jerome Mulford. Jerome Mulford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Kev Williams fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wellingborough AFC's protests and gave Kev Williams a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, one of Wellingborough AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wellingborough AFC. Camron Hinshelwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Shawn McGurk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Paignton FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Clive Braithwaite hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Jake French made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Paignton FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gregory Gulliver hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Camron Hinshelwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wellingborough AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camron Hinshelwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shawn McGurk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chesney Chapman kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ross Hart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastien Burns took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerome Mulford. Wellingborough AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Jake French took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Jerome Mulford to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Paignton FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aaron Bland hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Ross Hart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Jerome Mulford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 minutes of play Wellingborough AFC's Kev Williams was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wellingborough AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Paignton FC's Chesney Chapman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jerome Mulford. After having played for 93 minutes, Jake French managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paignton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jake French was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerome Mulford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake French in the 97th minute of the match. The Wellingborough AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paignton FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
