Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Simon Bishop started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Simon Bishop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liam Blowman's late challenge caught a Tintagel City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liam Blowman helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Hired Goonz got a freekick which was hit by Liam Blowman. Vic Deeney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wesley Fuller's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Danny Barkley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simeon Todd in the 30th minute of the match. Vic Deeney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Wills in the 32nd minute. Simon Bishop took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danny Barkley. Danny Barkley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Tintagel City's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Wills came free, but Vic Deeney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Tintagel City's Vic Deeney got control of the ball when Liam Blowman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerry Wills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vic Deeney having to interfere. Frank Gold shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley Fuller to make the kick off. After 55 minutes Tintagel City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Gold who took care of the corner kick. Frank Gold made a great header on Hired Goonz's corner, it was just that Tintagel City's Vic Deeney managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 60th minute Simon Bishop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Barkley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vic Deeney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Wills in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Hired Goonz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Pickard to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Ollie Wring was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hired Goonz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tintagel City the free kick. After 72 played minutes Hired Goonz got a freekick which was hit by Ollie Wring. In the 74th minute, Nathan Powell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Fuller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ollie Wring struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Vic Deeney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hired Goonz. If Jerry Wills had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tintagel City booed when Hired Goonz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Fuller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaz Carr kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Vic Deeney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Wills, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 98th minute Jerry Wills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vic Deeney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tintagel City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
