Jermaine Wicks took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Will Barber. Everton City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mattias Clarke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Owen having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richie Theobold was the one to do the kick off. If Nigel Schofield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jermaine Wicks took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Will Barber. Everton City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Nigel Schofield came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Chelsea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nigel Schofield couldn't finish the play. The referee gave Chelsea AFC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thom Boyd, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Everton City's Will Barber. 1-2. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ash Lomas put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Will Barber. After a rather tough play, Chelsea AFC's Junior Fawell got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rio Owen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Theobold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chelsea AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
