The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Callum Banim to strike the kick off in the second half. Charlie Dingle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Christopher Bridgeman made a huge save. Will Carey-Bertram kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Charlie Dingle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doug Mumford hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Christopher Bridgeman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Straker's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Charlie Dingle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dartmouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlie Dingle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Bridgeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Will Carey-Bertram in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Bridgeman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doug Mumford charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Callum Banim in the 84th minute of play forced Dartmouth's goalkeeper Owen Coote to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Stonehouse got a corner. Dartmouth's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hayden Fitzgerald ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Stonehouse's Ted Harland to a score. 2-0 in the 96th minute. Dartmouth's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
