In the 18th minute, AlcoTeam St Neots FC's Richie Brooks ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guy Sears. Guy Sears yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Richie Brooks took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Guy Sears to make any attempt to save it. Richie Brooks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Sears read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Bingley FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl Sills. A hard shot 38 in the game by Richie Brooks from a close distance when the talented Guy Sears managed to make a qualified save. Bingley FC's players were relieved. Garry Worth was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Garry Worth hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Kev Batty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Will Greenfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Sears having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Bingley FC's goalkeeper Guy Sears had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richie Brooks. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gav Dobson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Richie Brooks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Sears was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. AlcoTeam St Neots FC's Richie Brooks got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62ndth minute of the game Richie Brooks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bingley FC's Guy Sears was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 minutes Bingley FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kev Batty who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Kev Batty almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bingley FC's Guy Sears did a great save. Guy Sears stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richie Brooks's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Richie Brooks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AlcoTeam St Neots FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 72nd match minute, Bingley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Sills to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AlcoTeam St Neots FC booed when Bingley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhys Wilkes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, AlcoTeam St Neots FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Brooks to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guy Sears prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richie Brooks might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guy Sears. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richie Brooks ran back to his position shaking his head. If Richie Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Richie Brooks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Howlett's late challenge caught a AlcoTeam St Neots FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Howlett helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Bingley FC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Howlett. The supporters of Bingley FC booed when AlcoTeam St Neots FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rod Izzard didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Richie Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guy Sears showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie Brooks, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
