Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Al Brady started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. George Langley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alistair Woodhall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan Hislop's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Cliff Blower showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Al Brady, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute, William Carter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alistair Woodhall came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Horfield's Albert Workman. But to his dismay, Albert Workman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Ryan Hislop notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Stourport on Severn United's Alistair Woodhall. Alistair Woodhall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Carter during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Horfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Carter to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Frankie Law's long shot passed Cliff Blower's right side. It was 1-2, 23 minutes into the match. Horfield's Cliff Blower played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Brady in the 26th minute of play. William Carter hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Stourport on Severn United's George Langley got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Timothy Ferrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horfield and the Stourport on Severn United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Horfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Ferrell to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, George Langley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chaz Bourne kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Eric Cusack, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. George Langley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cliff Blower tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stourport on Severn United's Al Brady got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The wind increased when Ryan Hislop made the kick off in the second half. Al Brady charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Al Brady the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Al Brady hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Horfield's Ryan Hislop sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alistair Woodhall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Al Brady sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stourport on Severn United's George Langley in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Horfield's goalie prevented a goal. Ryan Hislop might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alistair Woodhall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ryan Hislop ran back to his position shaking his head. Austin Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ryan Hislop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Hislop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alistair Woodhall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Langley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cliff Blower tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cliff Blower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Brady in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horfield's goalkeeper Cliff Blower, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ryan Hislop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Hislop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alistair Woodhall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Austin Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alistair Woodhall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan Hislop's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Albert Workman might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alistair Woodhall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Workman ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Horfield's Albert Workman got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Karl Salt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alistair Woodhall skillfully saved the ball. Cliff Blower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Langley in the 96th minute of the match. The Horfield supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Horfield would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
