Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Frazer Byrom charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frazer Byrom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Erith getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Frazer Byrom hit a great ball. Allan Barton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bill Newbury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Selby having to interfere. In the 9th minute Bill Newbury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Selby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Selby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Coe in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Camborne's zone, Joshua Hammond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyn Spurgeon came out of the goal and Joshua Hammond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Lloyd Coe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthony Selby was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 18 played minutes Camborne got a freekick which was hit by Jason East. A hard shot by Ruben Vickers from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Martyn Spurgeon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bill Newbury recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bill Newbury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Newbury in the 32nd minute of play forced Erith's goalkeeper Anthony Selby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony Selby came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Camborne's Lloyd Coe. But to his dismay, Lloyd Coe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, Camborne's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Barton came free, but Martyn Spurgeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Newbury took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Selby. Anthony Selby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Camborne's Bill Newbury in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erith's goalie prevented a goal. The Erith players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Camborne were winning 0-3.

If Bill Newbury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Joshua Hammond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erith fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Carlton Pritchard hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Ruben Vickers sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Camborne's Martyn Spurgeon didn't even have to move. In the 66th minute, Lloyd Coe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bill Newbury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Selby having to interfere. Martyn Spurgeon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Hammond in the 72nd minute of the match. If Joshua Hammond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyn Spurgeon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Barton, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Allan Barton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Martyn Spurgeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lloyd Coe might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthony Selby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lloyd Coe ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Camborne's zone, Joshua Hammond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Selby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bill Newbury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Camborne's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Barton came free, but Martyn Spurgeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Camborne supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Camborne would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
