Gordon Bagshaw's late challenge caught a Highbury and Islington AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Highbury and Islington AFC booed when Manchester united FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfie Green didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kasey Sheehan made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Joey Thurman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Highbury and Islington AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester united FC the free kick. In the 51st minute, Joey Thurman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vic Furlong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Bryden having to interfere. A collision led to Highbury and Islington AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Samuel Blacknell hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Buster Turner in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drew Bryden saved Manchester united FC from getting behind. During the 94th minute of the match Samuel Blacknell completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Samuel Blacknell a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Manchester united FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
