Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adrian Nethercoat made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Christopher Bourne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dale Jewson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dale Jewson came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by LKS Strumien's Christopher Bourne. But to his dismay, Christopher Bourne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 12th minute Adrian Nethercoat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Homes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes in the game, Adrian Nethercoat fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rob Homes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rackenford's Victor Wardill got a free kick in the 18th minute. Scott Elding kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rob Homes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garry Ely in the 25th minute of play. John Paul Clough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Homes having to interfere. Rob Homes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Nethercoat in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, LKS Strumien's Rob Homes got control of the ball when John Paul Clough tried to sneak it across the goal line. John Paul Clough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Rob Homes made a huge save. When Christopher Bourne came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the LKS Strumien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Bourne couldn't finish the play. Glen Rawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dale Jewson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Rackenford defense, Glen Rawson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dale Jewson. The Rackenford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dale Jewson should have stopped the shot. After 48 minutes, Garry Ely mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rackenford and the LKS Strumien players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Rackenford got a freekick which was hit by Garry Ely. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glen Rawson made a kick off. Dale Jewson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Bourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Rackenford getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Trev Neville hit a great ball. Christopher Bourne struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Dale Jewson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LKS Strumien. Christopher Bourne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as LKS Strumien's Sean Reid slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dale Jewson. That made the score 0-4 after 69 minutes of play. After 74 played minutes Rackenford got a freekick which was hit by Glen Clist. Glen Rawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Jewson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LKS Strumien's Christopher Bourne got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Adrian Nethercoat came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Rackenford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Nethercoat couldn't finish the play. Trev Neville's late challenge caught a LKS Strumien's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trev Neville helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rackenford's Trev Neville got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 97th minute, Rackenford's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Glen Rawson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Rackenford supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LKS Strumien's performance. The match ended with a win for LKS Strumien.
