Kurt King scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nathan Coleman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Teignmouth United booed when Tundra Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Phimister didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Danny Reed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teignmouth United's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Reed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rio Simms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nathan Coleman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt King in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Teignmouth United's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt King came free, but Nathan Coleman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Glen Boyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tundra Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kurt King recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danny Reed to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Boyle in the 60th minute of play forced Teignmouth United's goalkeeper Nathan Coleman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a penalty for Teignmouth United! Trey Purkiss charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Trey Purkiss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 91 minutes into the game, one of Teignmouth United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Glen Boyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Coleman having to interfere.
