Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Loyd Floyd got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Barnes in the 6th minute of play forced Penrith AFC's goalkeeper David Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Penrith AFC's David Palmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Penrith AFC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the game, Verne Ricketts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penrith AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southwark city the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Penrith AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verne Ricketts to maneuver through the defense. David Palmer made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Iain Hughes-Guy sent off a good shot on target. Les Shackleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Iain Hughes-Guy put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Palmer. Iain Hughes-Guy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Palmer having to interfere. Loyd Floyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Les Shackleton might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mike Weston. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Les Shackleton ran back to his position shaking his head. Mike Barnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Southwark city's Iain Hughes-Guy got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Palmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iain Hughes-Guy in the 36th minute. Iain Hughes-Guy in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Palmer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sammy Dimmock kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Mike Barnes made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Penrith AFC's Roger Rutherford got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Mike Barnes made a precise shot to the right of David Palmer. Penrith AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Mike Barnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iain Hughes-Guy in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 played minutes, Southwark city's Scott Hayes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Palmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Southwark city reached it. 70 minutes into the match, Southwark city's Iain Hughes-Guy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Palmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Penrith AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Barnes came free, but David Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mike Barnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Palmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mike Barnes's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Penrith AFC's Loyd Floyd got a free kick in the 76th minute. Iain Hughes-Guy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. After 92 played minutes Southwark city got a freekick which was hit by Calum Jones. In the 96th minute, Mike Barnes made a precise shot to the right of David Palmer. Penrith AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Southwark city had played much better football throughout.
