William Edworthy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Potter in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Simon Prendergast made a precise shot to the right of Ollie Krief. Tractor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Simon Prendergast succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 17th playminute. In the 19th match minute, Legion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Floyd to maneuver through the defense. Harvey Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ollie Krief was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gav Burnham showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tractor's zone, Simon Prendergast stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ollie Krief came out of the goal and Simon Prendergast tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes, Tractor's Charles Clifford shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Edworthy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tractor reached it. William Edworthy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Crocker in the 41st minute of play. Silvester Burkinshaw's late challenge caught a Legion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvester Burkinshaw helped the player get up and apologised. Silvester Burkinshaw hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Gav Burnham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ollie Krief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gav Burnham made a kick off. If Ted Crocker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harvey Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Edworthy having to interfere. When Harvey Potter came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Tractor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harvey Potter couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Harvey Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tractor's supporters rose to their feet, but Harvey Potter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Edworthy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Legion's goalkeeper William Edworthy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harvey Potter. A collision led to Legion getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Zane Wiley hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Jamie Whieldon in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the William Edworthy's left hand side. Ollie Krief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Prendergast in the 68th minute of play. Simon Prendergast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tractor's Ollie Krief played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gav Burnham in the 76th minute of play. If Simon Prendergast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Crocker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tractor booed when Legion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keiran Davenport didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Jamie Whieldon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Edworthy skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Tractor's Mike Kirk got a free kick in the 89th minute. Tractor's Ollie Krief played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gav Burnham in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Prendergast in the 94th minute of play forced Tractor's goalkeeper Ollie Krief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
