Tris Long was a little too slow when Leigh Lane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cleckheaton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! After 27 minutes of play, Cleckheaton's Brendon Mayfield made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harvey Moxon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cleckheaton's Ashley Webster in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO BUCURESTI's goalie prevented a goal. If Eric Addison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the game, Eric Addison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Harvey Moxon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leigh Lane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tris Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dean Higgins got free with Tris Long in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Eric Addison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cleckheaton's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Addison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harvey Moxon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tris Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Higgins in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of DINAMO BUCURESTI booed when Cleckheaton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Parks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tris Long didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinnie Bettney went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute Leigh Lane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tris Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Moxon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Parks in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Cleckheaton's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Higgins came free, but Tris Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Eric Addison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Moxon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ashley Webster struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Harvey Moxon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cleckheaton. In the 87th minute Ashley Webster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Moxon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ashley Websters short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Harvey Moxon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cleckheaton's Tris Long played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leigh Lane in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brendon Mayfield got free with Harvey Moxon in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinnie Bettney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
