In the 33rdth minute of the game Chip Warner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ramsgate United's Bradley Markham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stevie Soussan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bradley Markham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vern Newton charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vern Newton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Bradley Markham managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Bedlington's Stevie Soussan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Ramsgate United's Bradley Markham got control of the ball when Stevie Soussan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Despite being the better team, Bedlington failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
