Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nigel Margarson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Bloomsbury got a freekick which was hit by Blair Lomas. In the 17th match minute, Melksham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Wiseman to maneuver through the defense. If Samuel Schofield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Robinsons short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Donald Hanson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Bloomsbury's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Moxon came free, but Billy Brady reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Hanson having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Melksham United got a freekick which was hit by Eric Wiseman. Luke Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Luke Robinson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donald Hanson. Luke Robinson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Schofield made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Andrew Pollock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nigel Margarson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luke Robinson during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes Bloomsbury got a freekick which was hit by Luke Robinson. A collision led to Bloomsbury getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Al Godsall hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nigel Margarson in the 68th minute of play forced Bloomsbury's goalkeeper Billy Brady to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Billy Brady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Margarson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Billy Brady stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nigel Margarson's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Billy Brady didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerry Moxon went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jerry Moxon scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billy Brady, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Melksham United's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Schofield came free, but Donald Hanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Samuel Schofield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melksham United's Donald Hanson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luke Robinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Melksham United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
