Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brendon Stonebridge made the kick off which started today's match. If Duncan Farrow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Woodlesford FC's Romeo Caine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Woodlesford FC from getting a goal against them. After 7 played minutes Woodlesford FC got a freekick which was hit by Travis Stockdale. Romeo Caine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivor Tindale in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Woodlesford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donny Bond to maneuver through the defense. Travis Stockdale kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, Ferryton's Bob Darko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romeo Caine came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferryton reached it. Romeo Parks charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Parks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romeo Parks hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Romeo Caine didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Ivor Tindale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Caine having to make a save. In the 26th match minute, Ferryton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Rowling to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Ferryton's goal looked a bit too open when Jools Taylor came free, but Al Frost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivor Tindale might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Caine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivor Tindale ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ferryton's Ivor Tindale in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Woodlesford FC's goalie prevented a goal. Brendon Stonebridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Teddy Whittingham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Al Frost having to make a save. 57 minutes into the game, Jasper Rowling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferryton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woodlesford FC the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Ferryton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Rowling to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Marlon Pope from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Al Frost's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duncan Farrow in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Caine saved Woodlesford FC from getting behind. Woodlesford FC's Romeo Caine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivor Tindale in the 65th minute of play. Ivor Tindale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Brendon Stonebridge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woodlesford FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon Stonebridge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Al Frost breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brendon Stonebridge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Al Frost read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ferryton's Tristan Gower got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Teddy Whittingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teddy Whittingham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Al Frost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ferryton's zone, Brendon Stonebridge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Al Frost came out of the goal and Brendon Stonebridge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
