Norton Radstock AFC's Alexander Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th minute Steve Scriven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Beadle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthew Davey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Norton Radstock AFC's zone, Matthew Davey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orson Pickford came out of the goal and Matthew Davey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norton Radstock AFC's Alexander Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Steve Scriven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Beadle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Norton Radstock AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Houlahan came free, but Orson Pickford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Hughes in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Beadle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Beadle having to interfere. Steve Scriven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tom Beadle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Norton Radstock AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Cawood. In the 37thth minute of the game Matthew Davey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norton Radstock AFC's Orson Pickford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthew Davey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buster Musgrove's late challenge caught a Rowner AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Buster Musgrove helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Norton Radstock AFC got a freekick which was hit by Buster Musgrove. Blair McGrath managed to, on his own, get straight through Norton Radstock AFC's defense and in the 49th minute placed the ball to the left of Orson Pickford. 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stewart Houlahan made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Norton Radstock AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Houlahan came free, but Orson Pickford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Norton Radstock AFC's Dominik Gibbs got a free kick in the 56th minute. Orson Pickford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Davey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stewart Houlahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Hughes got free with Tom Beadle in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rowner AFC's Tom Beadle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Scriven in the 66th minute of play. Steve Scriven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Matthew Davey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orson Pickford was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Alexander Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buster Musgrove hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes, Rowner AFC's Sean Oldham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orson Pickford came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rowner AFC reached it. After a rather tough play, Norton Radstock AFC's Dominik Gibbs got a free kick in the 88th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orson Pickford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Stewart Houlahan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Rowner AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stewart Houlahan couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Norton Radstock AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Houlahan came free, but Orson Pickford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Sean Oldham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Buster Musgrove sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tom Beadle threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Buster Musgrove this time.
