The referee ignored Caterham Valley United's protests and gave Deon Frost a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caterham Valley United's Deon Frost got a free kick in the 13th minute. Deon Myers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ash Whiteley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Barhill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ken Holdroyd. Dean Renwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trev Potts in the 28th minute of the match. Ash Whiteley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deon Myers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deon Frost hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Grant Bullard might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ash Whiteley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grant Bullard ran back to his position shaking his head. Barhill AFC's Dean Renwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trev Potts in the 42nd minute of play. Dean Renwick was a little too slow when Trev Potts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0.

The wind increased when Grant Bullard made the kick off in the second half. Ash Whiteley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grant Bullard in the 53rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Travis Legg during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barhill AFC's Travis Legg got a free kick in the 56th minute. Deon Myers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Ash Whiteley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Deon Myers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grant Bullard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ash Whiteley having to interfere. Ash Whiteley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nial Bush, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Grant Bullard struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ash Whiteley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barhill AFC. After 72 minutes, Grant Bullard made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Caterham Valley United's Ash Whiteley tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Crispin Hall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Renwick having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Caterham Valley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crispin Hall to maneuver through the defense. Grant Bullard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ash Whiteley having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Crispin Hall in the 93rd minute of play forced Barhill AFC's goalkeeper Dean Renwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Travis Legg kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Crispin Hall came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Caterham Valley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crispin Hall couldn't finish the play.
