In the 4th minute, Keanu Moore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sonny Strong was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tenterden AFC's Sebastien Bowland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Gilchrist in the 8th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, Pibes FC's Rex Reynolds made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastien Bowland was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Tenterden AFC's zone, Jim Gilchrist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastien Bowland came out of the goal and Jim Gilchrist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastien Bowland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Reynolds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 21 minutes, Rex Reynolds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pibes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rex Reynolds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Jim Gilchrist made a precise shot to the right of Sebastien Bowland. Tenterden AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Sacha Blackburn kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Tenterden AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Neil Medley hit a great ball. Peter King's late challenge caught a Tenterden AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter King helped the player get up and apologised. Peter King hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rex Reynolds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastien Bowland having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Rex Reynolds cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Sebastien Bowland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Jim Gilchrist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Tenterden AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sacha Blackburn. Jim Gilchrist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastien Bowland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Pibes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Legg to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Strong was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lewis Dawes.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keanu Moore to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tenterden AFC's Alfred Philips sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sonny Strong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 53 played minutes Pibes FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter King. 62 minutes into the match, Tenterden AFC's goalkeeper Sebastien Bowland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Gilchrist. A collision led to Tenterden AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Keanu Burns hit a great ball. Jim Gilchrist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastien Bowland having to interfere. Rex Reynolds struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sebastien Bowland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pibes FC. Lance Skipton kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sebastien Bowland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Reynolds in the 74th minute of play. Pibes FC's Jim Gilchrist got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Rex Reynolds kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sebastien Bowland. That made the score 1-4 in the 78 minute of play. If Keanu Moore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jim Gilchrist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastien Bowland having to interfere. Rex Reynolds received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastien Bowland came out and tried to block the shot, but Rex Reynolds slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 85th minute. Alexander Legg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastien Bowland. Tenterden AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Tenterden AFC's Sebastien Bowland got control of the ball when Jim Gilchrist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Tenterden AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pibes FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
