Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pierre Hunter took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Alsager was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Bow to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Zack Gilchrist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Johnathon Newton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Chiswick United's Pierre Hunter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Will Poole. Will Poole yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Rupert Burton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Chiswick United defense, Johnathon Newton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dale Prendergast. The Chiswick United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dale Prendergast should have stopped the shot. Zack Gilchrist hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Will Poole made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gary Basterfield sent off a good shot on target. Chiswick United's Dale Prendergast played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Burton in the 33rd minute of play. Gary Basterfield blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Will Poole having to make a save. The supporters of Alsager booed when Chiswick United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Partridge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gary Basterfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Poole having to interfere. Pierre Hunter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Will Poole read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rupert Burton made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Chiswick United's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Burton came free, but Dale Prendergast reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnathon Newton did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Dale Prendergast 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Alsager was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Bridgewater to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierre Hunter in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Poole saved Alsager from getting behind. After having played for 70 minutes, Gary Basterfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiswick United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gary Basterfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gary Basterfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alsager's Will Poole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Basterfield in the 81st minute of play. Phil Bridgewater's late challenge caught a Chiswick United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phil Bridgewater helped the player get up and apologised. Phil Bridgewater hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Pierre Hunter struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Will Poole didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiswick United. Will Poole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gary Basterfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jamal Pickford took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Will Poole. Alsager's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Will Poole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Hunter in the 96th minute of play.
