Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pierre Hunter started the match with the kick off. Kurt Orchard had several of the Chiswick United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 2 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Dale Prendergast as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gary Basterfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Smisby City's goal looked a bit too open when Gary Basterfield came free, but Daryl Trusswell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre Hunter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Trusswell having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Adam Partridge made a precise shot to the right of Daryl Trusswell. Smisby City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gary Basterfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Daryl Trusswell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gary Basterfield in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daryl Trusswell saved Smisby City from getting behind. When Cody Coyle fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smisby City's protests and gave Cody Coyle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Smisby City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cody Coyle to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Orchard to strike the kick off in the second half. Pierre Hunter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Pierre Hunter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daryl Trusswell was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 61st minute Kurt Orchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Prendergast saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Alastair Ramsden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gary Basterfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Trusswell having to interfere. Daryl Trusswell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gary Basterfield in the 74th minute. Daryl Trusswell made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Pierre Hunter sent off a good shot on target. Gary Basterfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Smisby City's Daryl Trusswell got control of the ball when Gary Basterfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pierre Hunter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Christian Tetley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Daryl Trusswell managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Chiswick United's Gary Basterfield fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kurt Orchard hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
