Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Devon Potter started the match with the kick off. Rowan Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Sheldon in the 3rd minute of the match. Ormskirk were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Blewbury's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orson Bryant took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Vance Hammett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blewbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Vance Hammett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fitz Donnelly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, one of Blewbury:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blewbury. After a rather tough play, Blewbury's Greg Ratcliffe got a free kick in the 25th minute. Rowan Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devon Potter in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Devon Potter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rowan Webster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rowan Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devon Potter in the 32nd minute of the match. If Damon Sheldon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rowan Webster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devon Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Damon Sheldon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes, Grant Golding mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blewbury and the Ormskirk players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Ormskirk. Orson Bryant stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rowan Webster. 0-4.
The wind increased when Philip Commons made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Damon Sheldon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rowan Webster. That made the score 0-5 in the 63 minute of play. Rowan Webster was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Devon Potter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Devon Potter really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. After 73 played minutes Blewbury got a freekick which was hit by Greg Ratcliffe. Barry Percival kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Philip Commons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rowan Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devon Potter in the 84th minute of play. Rowan Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devon Potter in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Blewbury's goal looked a bit too open when Devon Potter came free, but Rowan Webster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Damon Sheldon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rowan Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devon Potter in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Blewbury's goalkeeper Rowan Webster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damon Sheldon. Greg Ratcliffe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ormskirk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
