Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rory Bevan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jon Johnstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Seaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Rory Bevan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Norman Baker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Everton got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Cotterill. Norman Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Bevan in the 20th minute of play. When Reggie Higgins came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Unia Tarnow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reggie Higgins couldn't finish the play. When Neil Sullivan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unia Tarnow's protests and gave Neil Sullivan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Unia Tarnow getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Neil Sullivan hit a great ball. Rory Bevan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Norman Baker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norman Baker made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Reggie Higgins sent off a good shot on target. After 34 minutes, Felix Seaman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Everton and the Unia Tarnow players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Everton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Seaman to maneuver through the defense. If Reggie Higgins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rory Bevan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Norman Baker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unia Tarnow. 43 minutes into the match, Everton's goalkeeper Norman Baker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reggie Higgins. Reggie Higgins in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Norman Baker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvester Kidd was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Reggie Higgins managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 95th match minute, Unia Tarnow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lloyd Fry to maneuver through the defense. Unia Tarnow's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
