With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rowan Webster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the game, Tom Bond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unia Tarnow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blewbury the free kick. A collision led to Unia Tarnow getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tom Bond hit a great ball. Jon Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vance Hammett in the 19th minute of play. When Reggie Higgins came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Unia Tarnow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reggie Higgins couldn't finish the play. Rowan Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Bevan in the 32nd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rory Bevan was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Blewbury's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Bevan came free, but Rowan Webster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Reggie Higgins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blewbury's Rowan Webster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 66th minute of the match Greg Ratcliffe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Greg Ratcliffe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 69 minutes, Neil Sullivan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unia Tarnow and the Blewbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Unia Tarnow getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rowan Webster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Rory Bevan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vance Hammett got free with Jon Johnstone in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Rory Bevan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unia Tarnow's supporters rose to their feet, but Rory Bevan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowan Webster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reggie Higgins in the 81st minute of play forced Blewbury's goalkeeper Rowan Webster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
