Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damien Nightingale started the match with the kick off. Gerry Fawell struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Seth Cowling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westbury-sub-Mendip. Colin Newton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Seth Cowling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Westbury-sub-Mendip's Ryan Beasley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Westbury-sub-Mendip from getting a goal against them. Damien Nightingale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ryan Beasley having to make a save. Hugh Lappin charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugh Lappin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Westbury-sub-Mendip's Hugh Lappin got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Poland Band FC's Damien Nightingale in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Westbury-sub-Mendip and the Poland Band FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Colin Newton hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Dominic Lineker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Poland Band FC's goal looked a bit too open when Colin Newton came free, but Seth Cowling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Ryan Beasley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damien Nightingale's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. A collision led to Westbury-sub-Mendip getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Leigh Clark hit a great ball. Leigh Clark charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leigh Clark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Westbury-sub-Mendip's Leigh Clark got a free kick in the 57th minute. A collision led to Poland Band FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alfred Jenas hit a great ball. Dennis Hotte's late challenge caught a Poland Band FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Hotte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Westbury-sub-Mendip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Hotte to maneuver through the defense. Damien Nightingale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryan Beasley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poland Band FC's Damien Nightingale got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Westbury-sub-Mendip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Hotte to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Jenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Beasley having to interfere. Alfred Jenas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryan Beasley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Damien Nightingale made a precise shot to the right of Ryan Beasley. Westbury-sub-Mendip's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 90 minutes into the match, Westbury-sub-Mendip's goal looked a bit too open when Damien Nightingale came free, but Ryan Beasley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poland Band FC's Alfred Jenas got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Poland Band FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Westbury-sub-Mendip had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
