Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wordsley City's Marty Tindale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Ted Charles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abraham Murtagh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Holloway having to interfere. Alfred Holloway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ted Charles's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Owen Coulthard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Forrester having to interfere. In the 13th minute Abraham Murtagh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Holloway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Forrester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Tindale, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Owen Coulthard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Forrester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Marty Tindale came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Wordsley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marty Tindale couldn't finish the play. Owen Coulthards short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Ivan Forrester to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benji Wadham charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benji Wadham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benji Wadham hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ivan Forrester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Tindale, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Wordsley City's Marty Tindale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Forrester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Owen Coulthard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marty Tindale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ivan Forrester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brad Moss hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Woodmancote AFC's zone, Owen Coulthard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Forrester came out of the goal and Owen Coulthard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Dom Carlisle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Abraham Murtagh got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Woodmancote AFC's attack was well implemented in the 79th minute, but when Ted Charles was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Calum Gerrard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Forrester. Woodmancote AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Woodmancote AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Brad Moss hit a great ball. Ivan Forrester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Tindale, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Benji Wadham kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Isaac Beattie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Abraham Murtagh made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Holloway. Wordsley City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.
