Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ted Charles got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Brad Moss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woodmancote AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Watton-at-Stone the free kick. Ted Charles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ryan Harper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Watton-at-Stone's Kris Winterbine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Forrester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sean Chambers scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Forrester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kris Winterbine struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ivan Forrester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watton-at-Stone. The Watton-at-Stone fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Watton-at-Stone's Kris Winterbine looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the game, Marty Gale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watton-at-Stone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woodmancote AFC the free kick. After 27 played minutes Watton-at-Stone got a freekick which was hit by Marty Gale. The supporters of Watton-at-Stone booed when Woodmancote AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Murtagh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Forrester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Blake in the 30th minute of the match. Gordon Blake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Forrester having to interfere. Orson Blackley made a great header on Woodmancote AFC's corner, it was just that Watton-at-Stone's Ryan Harper managed to reach the ball for a save. 44 minutes into the game, Kris Winterbine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ivan Forrester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 48th play minutes Kris Winterbine shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Ivan Forrester and just under the crossbar into goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kris Winterbine made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Gordon Blake rounded Woodmancote AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Abraham Murtagh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Woodmancote AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Winterbine came free, but Ivan Forrester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abraham Murtagh fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woodmancote AFC's protests and gave Abraham Murtagh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Abraham Murtagh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Murtagh in the 89th minute of play forced Watton-at-Stone's goalkeeper Ryan Harper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Woodmancote AFC's Abraham Murtagh got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Watton-at-Stone's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
