Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Chris Pilgrim got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind South Lawn FC's goalkeeper Seth Piercy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to South Lawn FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Rex Bullard hit a great ball. When Nicky Mortlock fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored South Lawn FC's protests and gave Nicky Mortlock a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, Blewbury FC's goalkeeper Zane Benbow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Donnelly. Seth Piercy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tristram Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Chris Pilgrim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zane Benbow having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, David Donnelly took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zane Benbow to make any attempt to save it. South Lawn FC's Seth Piercy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Pope in the 32nd minute of play. If Tristram Lane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zane Benbow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Pilgrim in the 40th minute of play. If Tristram Lane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sammy Pope made a kick off. South Lawn FC's Seth Piercy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Pope in the 51st minute of play. Zane Benbow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Robins, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fraser Tandy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zane Benbow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Blewbury FC's Scott Wainwright got a free kick in the 59th minute. Byron Clayson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Seth Piercy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zane Benbow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Donnelly in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Blewbury FC's Scott Wainwright got a free kick in the 71st minute. David Donnelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Zane Benbow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Donnelly might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zane Benbow. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Donnelly ran back to his position shaking his head. Sammy Pope received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Seth Piercy came out and tried to block the shot, but Sammy Pope slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 83rd minute. After having played for 91 minutes, David Donnelly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Lawn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Donnelly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Tristram Lane fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. South Lawn FC fully deserved thier win.
