Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th play minute Darryl Lester came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Louis Dyson. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Darryl Lester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Louis Dyson. Market Harborough's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darryl Lester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Russ Haines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaac Borrowdale took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugh Houghton. Hugh Houghton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Minehead City's Hugh Houghton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Afful in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Russ Haines in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Louis Dyson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Todd Afful shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugh Houghton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Afful in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugh Houghton saved Minehead City from getting behind. In the 34th match minute, Minehead City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nial Morrison to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Michael Eadan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugh Houghton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Louis Dyson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russ Haines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Market Harborough's goal looked a bit too open when Russ Haines came free, but Louis Dyson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hugh Houghton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Afful, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Borrowdales short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Hugh Houghton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Toby Barone kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Hugh Houghton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Afful in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Russ Haines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minehead City's supporters rose to their feet, but Russ Haines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louis Dyson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaac Borrowdale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hugh Houghton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Todd Afful had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugh Houghton made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Isaac Borrowdale sent off a good shot on target. Todd Afful struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Hugh Houghton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Market Harborough. Todd Afful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hugh Houghton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugh Houghton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Borrowdale in the 81st minute. When Market Harborough's Todd Afful in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minehead City's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Market Harborough booed when Minehead City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Barone didn't get a good kick on the ball.
