In the 11th match minute, Coalville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray East to maneuver through the defense. Coalville FC's Karl Beerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Ferdinand in the 15th minute of play. Karl Beerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Doyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Coalville FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nath English hit a great ball. After 27 minutes of play, Timperley FC's Richard Ferdinand made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Beerman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jo Partridge came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Coalville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jo Partridge couldn't finish the play. Ray East kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Timperley FC's Jack Forster shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl Beerman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Timperley FC reached it.

Timperley FC's Kev Saunders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Partridge in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Jo Partridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kev Saunders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Jo Partridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timperley FC's Kev Saunders was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sonny Doyle was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Timperley FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sonny Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Karl Beerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Ray East hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Beerman made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Sonny Doyle sent off a good shot on target. Kev Saunders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Partridge in the 66th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Coalville FC got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Dines. Jack Forster was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sonny Doyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Beerman having to interfere. Karl Beerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Austin Lineker's late challenge caught a Coalville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Austin Lineker helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Timperley FC's Austin Lineker got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Coalville FC's Kristopher Hendley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kev Saunders narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Richard Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timperley FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Coalville FC's Luke Saxton got a free kick in the 86th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Timperley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Partridge came free, but Kev Saunders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kev Saunders didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Coalville FC's Kristopher Hendley shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
