Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mount Hawke's Kelvin Clark started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeffrey Colley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Kelvin Clark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mount Hawke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelvin Clark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jeffrey Colley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evolution's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeffrey Colley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fraser Bennet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evolution's Jeffrey Colley was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jeffrey Colley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fraser Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mount Hawke's zone, Rowan Sharpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fraser Bennet came out of the goal and Rowan Sharpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evolution's Grant Rooney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Clark in the 23rd minute of play. If Ivan Lloyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Mount Hawke got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Longstaff. Grant Rooney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Lansdell in the 44th minute of the match. When Evolution's Jeffrey Colley in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mount Hawke's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes into the game, Kelvin Clark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mount Hawke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Evolution the free kick. After 47 played minutes Mount Hawke got a freekick which was hit by Kelvin Clark. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeffrey Colley was the one to do the kick off. Mount Hawke were furious when Stuart Draper was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Mount Hawke getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Stuart Draper hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rowan Sharpe during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Evolution's Rowan Sharpe got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Chesney Stonehouse notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mount Hawke's Fraser Bennet. Fraser Bennet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Jeffrey Colley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fraser Bennet was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Rowan Sharpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fraser Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Ivan Lloyd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chesney Stonehouse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rowan Sharpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fraser Bennet having to interfere. Ivan Lloyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Rooney having to interfere. Paul Blackwater kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Grant Rooney was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stefan Longstaff. After 90 minutes, Ivan Lloyd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mount Hawke and the Evolution players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Ivan Lloyd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fraser Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vern Deeney in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vernon Drysdale in the 94th minute of play forced Mount Hawke's goalkeeper Fraser Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
