Shobdon's Dom Musgrove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Longstaff in the 2nd minute of play. A collision led to Shobdon getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Timperley United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Lenny Lovell scored to the left of an out of position Steven Carey-Bertram, making the score, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alan Longstaff to strike the kick off in the second half. If Alastair Noble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dom Musgrove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fraser Cooper, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Timperley United's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Jennings came free, but Steven Carey-Bertram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Jack Noble notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Shobdon's Dom Musgrove. Dom Musgrove was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dom Musgrove was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alan Longstaff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dom Musgrove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leon Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Alastair Noble ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dom Musgrove was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Timperley United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Shobdon.
