Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Curtis Browning took the kick off in the first half of the match. Harvey Graves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phil Timmins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Mumford, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Verwood United's Donny Ottaway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Browning in the 13th minute of play. Donny Ottaway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Browning in the 15th minute of the match. If Joe Mumford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joe Booker hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Joe Booker in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donny Ottaway, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Orson Lawton hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Joe Booker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Donny Ottaway made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Verwood United's Trev Brayford got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, Verwood United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam York to maneuver through the defense. Neil Barkley, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Joe Booker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joe Mumford scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phil Timmins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curtis Browning in the 47th minute of play forced Verwood United's goalkeeper Donny Ottaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Wokingham players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Verwood United were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Mumford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Curtis Browning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Ottaway having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Joe Booker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Donny Ottaway was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute Curtis Browning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donny Ottaway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Wokingham getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Orson Lawton hit a great ball. Donny Ottaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Browning in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Curtis Browning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joe Mumford struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Phil Timmins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verwood United. In the 88th minute, Curtis Browning left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wokingham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Verwood United's Donny Ottaway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Browning in the 96th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Wokingham's Curtis Browning made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donny Ottaway was left in no man's land by his defense there!
