Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ken Wagstaff got the match started through his kick off. If Joe Booker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 13 played minutes Old Bexley got a freekick which was hit by Russell Askew. The supporters of Wokingham booed when Old Bexley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billie Blackley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ted Butcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Browning in the 21st minute of play. Old Bexley's Garth Conway got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toby Almond kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Ken Wagstaff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joe Booker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Curtis Browning was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Old Bexley's goalkeeper Ted Butcher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Booker. Garth Conway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 minutes of play, Old Bexley's Garth Conway made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phil Timmins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Curtis Browning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Butcher having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Garth Conway notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Wokingham's Phil Timmins. Phil Timmins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute Garth Conway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phil Timmins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Butcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Browning in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Old Bexley's Ted Butcher got control of the ball when Joe Booker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garth Conway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Phil Timmins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ken Wagstaff in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phil Timmins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Russell Askew during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Old Bexley getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Russell Askew hit a great ball. Joe Booker let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 83rd minute shot 3-1 at rihgt post. In the 86th minute, Garth Conway left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Old Bexley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Russell Askew kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Old Bexley's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
