Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wokingham's Curtis Browning started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Curtis Browning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devon Long having to interfere. Joe Booker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Miles Pyrah fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 22 minutes, Curtis Browning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wokingham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Curtis Browning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Orson Lawton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phil Timmins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruce Hanson in the 25th minute. Devon Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Browning in the 31st minute of play. Joe Booker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wellesbourne's goalkeeper Devon Long, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wellesbourne's Wally Renwick got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Curtis Browning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wokingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Curtis Browning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Devon Long breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Miles Pyrah made the kick off in the second half. Frank Lockwood hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Curtis Browning notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wellesbourne's Devon Long. Devon Long was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Bruce Hanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miles Pyrah charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miles Pyrah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Wellesbourne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Pyrah to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Curtis Browning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wokingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Curtis Browning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Devon Long breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kasey Tully's late challenge caught a Wokingham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasey Tully helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Kasey Tully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match Neil Barkley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Devon Long showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Toby Bishop hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Curtis Browning kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Devon Long. That made the score 0-3 in the 91 minute of play. Devon Long made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Joe Booker sent off a good shot on target. Devon Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Booker in the 98th minute of the match. Wokingham played a much better game than Wellesbourne and deserved their victory. The Wellesbourne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
