Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Calum Timmins took the kick off in the first half of the match. Calum Timmins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Norman Bastow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rueben Thornton hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Steven Collingwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curtis Goodfellow in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barney Browne saved Great Baddow from getting behind. Rueben Thornton hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yarm's goalkeeper Norman Bastow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Great Baddow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. Steven Collingwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Browne having to interfere. Barney Browne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Goodfellow in the 39th minute of play. If Mike Hulbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Curtis Goodfellow made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Great Baddow's goalkeeper Barney Browne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Yarm got a freekick which was hit by Rueben Thornton. 1-0 became the score in the 61st minute when Calum Timmins elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Curtis Goodfellow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Barney Browne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Curtis Goodfellow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calum Timmins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Louie Booth charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louie Booth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yarm fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Great Baddow a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zack Best, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yarm's Norman Bastow. 2-0. Curtis Goodfellow might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barney Browne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Curtis Goodfellow ran back to his position shaking his head. Calum Timmins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yarm's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
