After a rather tough play, Great Baddow's Zack Best got a free kick in the 7th minute. Conal Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Great Baddow's Bob Shepherd got a free kick in the 19th minute. Fraser Brady was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Barney Browne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Bradley in the 24th minute of the match. Carlton Bradley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Eastbourne's Rupert Dingle got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calum Timmins made a kick off. Rupert Dingle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Barney Browne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Rupert Dingle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eastbourne and the Great Baddow players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rupert Dingle hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Mike Hulbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calum Timmins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes of play, Great Baddow's Calum Timmins made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rex Lonsdale was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mike Hulbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Conal Wright notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Great Baddow's Barney Browne. Barney Browne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mike Hulbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conal Wright could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Barney Browne made a huge save. Eastbourne's Fraser Brady couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Great Baddow.
