Pat Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Doona, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Carlton in Lindrick's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Doona came free, but Pat Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hastings City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
