After 15 played minutes Carl Bamford shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Bristol Centre's Jason Barrett to catch but Carl Bamford was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 21st minute Len Bowland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Bristol Centre's goal looked a bit too open when Len Bowland came free, but Jason Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jason Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Fitter, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Nicky Fitter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Barrett was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Bristol Centre's zone, Len Bowland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Barrett came out of the goal and Len Bowland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ashley Hickson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Bristol Centre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niall Hales to maneuver through the defense. The Bristol Centre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stony Stratford FC were winning 1-2.

After 50 played minutes Stony Stratford FC got a freekick which was hit by Travis Baldwin. Niall Hales kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bristol Centre's Jason Barrett got control of the ball when Nicky Fitter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Len Bowland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jason Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Bristol Centre's Jason Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bristol Centre from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Stony Stratford FC's Ty Laycock got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jason Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Travis Baldwin in the 70th minute of the match. Niall Hales was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 93 minutes of play, Stony Stratford FC's Ged West made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jason Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Stony Stratford FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bristol Centre.
