Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Des Rawlings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Knightley in the 4th minute of the match. Des Rawlings took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sacha Apsden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Bristol Centre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liam Goodwin to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Sacha Apsden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Des Rawlings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Bristol Centre's Kristian Knightley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Des Rawlings narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Warren Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Barrett having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sacha Apsden in the 29th minute of play forced Thetford's goalkeeper Des Rawlings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warren Bailey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Thetford's Warren Bailey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jason Barrett. Jason Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Rodney Harban came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jason Barrett could save by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Warren Bailey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Rodney Harban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thetford's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodney Harban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Bristol Centre's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Bailey came free, but Jason Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Knightley might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Des Rawlings. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristian Knightley ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Kristian Knightley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Des Rawlings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Parry in the 79th minute of play forced Bristol Centre's goalkeeper Jason Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Kristian Knightley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Des Rawlings, 2-1. Sacha Apsden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Des Rawlings having to interfere. Sacha Apsdens short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Des Rawlings to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Warren Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jason Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodney Harban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bristol Centre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
