Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sammy Gardiner kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Glastonbury FC booed when Walmley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vince Coe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philip Smart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Gardiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Philip Smart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jude Sharp in the 15th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Sammy Gardiner notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Walmley's Philip Smart. Philip Smart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute Rio Kitching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Darnbrooke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Smart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Gardiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sammy Gardiner struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Philip Smart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glastonbury FC. Carl Darnbrooke stood somewhat misplaced when Rio Kitching came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Philip Smart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Sharp, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 38th match minute, Walmley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Harban to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Walmley defense, Jude Sharp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Smart. The Walmley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Smart should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Jude Sharp made a precise shot to the right of Philip Smart. Walmley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Darius Buchanan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Philip Smart. Walmley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rio Kitching to strike the kick off in the second half. Philip Smart made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jude Sharp sent off a good shot on target. Philip Smart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Gardiner in the 54th minute of the match. Phil Bush fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Darnbrooke having to interfere. Jude Sharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Philip Smart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Darnbrooke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Bush, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Kitching sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, one of Walmley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dominik Lockwood shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vince Coe during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Walmley's Vince Coe got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Jude Sharp made a precise shot to the right of Philip Smart. Walmley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. With a little luck, Walmley's Philip Smart got control of the ball when Marek Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th play minute Jude Sharp came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Philip Smart. 1-5. In the 90th minute, Sammy Gardiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Walmley's Philip Smart got control of the ball when Sammy Gardiner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glastonbury FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
