Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cléberson Mendonça got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Clapham Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Watkinson to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Rodney Watkinson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Duncan Fleming's late challenge caught a Clapham Rovers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duncan Fleming helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Clapham Rovers booed when Ealing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Fleming didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Ealing's goal looked a bit too open when Gavin Sedgemore came free, but Barry Edgson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Clapham Rovers's Wayne Longden got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham Rovers's zone, Dom Bates stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilmar Brasil came out of the goal and Dom Bates tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cléberson Mendonça took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barry Edgson. Barry Edgson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fitz Greenwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alex Gibson came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Clapham Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Gibson couldn't finish the play. After 34 minutes of play, Clapham Rovers's Cléberson Mendonça made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barry Edgson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dom Bates kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Christiano Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Nilmar Brasil made a huge save. Ealing's Barry Edgson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Gibson in the 42nd minute of play. Barry Edgson came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Clapham Rovers's Alex Gibson. But to his dismay, Alex Gibson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nilmar Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Barreto's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Toscano in the 56th minute of play forced Ealing's goalkeeper Barry Edgson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Edgson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Stockton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ealing's Barry Edgson got control of the ball when Cléberson Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Clapham Rovers's Alex Gibson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Barry Edgson. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. Barry Edgson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Gibson in the 70th minute of the match. Barry Edgson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Gibson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Barry Edgson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Gibson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Justino Arixo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clapham Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Clapham Rovers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
