Freddy Boyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barking. Mickey Mayall charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mickey Mayall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mickey Mayall hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Charlie Cooke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Boyes having to interfere. Barking's Hernan Gerazan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 15th minute, Barking's Fermin Haitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With an all-out effort, Barking's Freddy Boyes threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hernan Gerazan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fermin Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barking's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Boyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 24 in the game by Fermin Haitz from a close distance when the talented Freddy Boyes managed to make a qualified save. Porthcurno City's players were relieved. Freddy Boyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Cooke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Gerazan in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Boyes saved Porthcurno City from getting behind. Fermin Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Freddy Boyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Boyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlie Cooke went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Gerazan in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Boyes saved Porthcurno City from getting behind. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Fermin Haitz sped through Porthcurno City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Boyes. With a little luck, Porthcurno City's Freddy Boyes got control of the ball when Fermin Haitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barking's Aleksander Gendolla got a free kick in the 47th minute. Barking's Kerim De Vito was substituted for Laurence Rose. A collision led to Barking getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Aleksander Gendolla hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glenn Hotte to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Barking defense, Glenn Hotte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Wardell. The Barking fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Wardell should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Fermin Haitz sped through Porthcurno City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Boyes. The Barking fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Barking's Fermin Haitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hernan Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Porthcurno City's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Gerazan came free, but Freddy Boyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Boyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Haitz went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Fermin Haitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barking fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. 76 minutes into the match, Barking's Hernan Gerazan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Boyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barking's Allan Wardell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Barking from getting a goal against them. Freddy Boyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Boyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gerazan in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Gerazan in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Boyes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barking's Hernan Gerazan got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Porthcurno City's zone, Fermin Haitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Boyes came out of the goal and Fermin Haitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Barking booed when Porthcurno City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Little didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Barking players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
