Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Manchester's Rowan Cook started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Liam Panther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, FC Manchester's goalkeeper Simon Stockley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liam Panther. Paddy Thackray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rowan Cook went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Outwood FC's Liam Panther dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 23 minutes, Zackary Willoughby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Outwood FC and the FC Manchester players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zackary Willoughby hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Liam Panther sped through FC Manchester's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Stockley. Simon Stockley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Panther in the 34th minute of play. Paddy Thackray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rowan Cook's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Outwood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rowan Cook came free, but Paddy Thackray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paddy Thackray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowan Cook in the 47th minute of play. Zackary Willoughby hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Rowan Cook blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paddy Thackray having to make a save. A collision led to FC Manchester getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rowan Cook hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ritchie Paget managed to get in a good position for a shot. Outwood FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ritchie Paget was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Stockley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Panther in the 80th minute of play forced FC Manchester's goalkeeper Simon Stockley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Ritchie Paget shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Stockley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Outwood FC's Liam Panther made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Stockley was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Paddy Batty fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Outwood FC's protests and gave Paddy Batty a yellow card for diving instead. Paddy Batty hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Outwood FC could leave the field as winners, despite FC Manchester having more of the ball for most of the match.
