Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Richard Varela made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes of play, Royston FC's Richard Varela made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Housham was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddie Folwill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Connor Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Housham came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Royston FC's Richard Varela. But to his dismay, Richard Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Royston FC's Billy Gilmour got control of the ball when Josh Jordan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 played minutes Royston FC got a freekick which was hit by Owen Hayward. 19 minutes into the match, Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Richard Varela came free, but Patrick Housham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Göyüş Ziyadov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Patrick Housham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 27 played minutes Willingale Hotspur F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Yorke. After having played for 28 minutes, Richard Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royston FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Göyüş Ziyadov fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royston FC's protests and gave Göyüş Ziyadov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Royston FC's Göyüş Ziyadov got a free kick in the 29th minute. Patrick Housham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Willmott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Larry Eubank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göyüş Ziyadov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Willingale Hotspur F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Royston FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josh Jordan was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josh Jordan in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billy Gilmour saved Royston FC from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Göyüş Ziyadov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Housham was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Richard Varela was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Royston FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 64th match minute, Royston FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Willmott to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Josh Jordan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Billy Gilmour was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Göyüş Ziyadov put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Housham. Göyüş Ziyadov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Housham having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Devine in the 90th minute of play forced Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s goalkeeper Patrick Housham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Greg Devine came free, but Patrick Housham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Wesley McMahon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Billy Gilmour skillfully saved the ball. Patrick Housham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Varela in the 94th minute of play. Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s Patrick Housham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Varela in the 96th minute of play.
