Liam Langley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Connor Waddington in the 3rd minute. In the 16th minute, Zaq Kerr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ethan Best received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sam Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Dersingham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Tandy to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Frinton's Shawn Clifford dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 27 played minutes Dersingham City got a freekick which was hit by Zaq Kerr. In the 32nd minute, Ethan Best got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sam Kennedy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Tandy's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Adam Morris was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Frinton's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Dersingham City's Liam Langley got control of the ball when Eddy Foster tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Adam Morris dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Liam Langley, 2-1.

The wind increased when Marcus Scrivener made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Dersingham City booed when Frinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun Croyden didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Waddington in the 57th minute of play forced Dersingham City's goalkeeper Liam Langley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Kurt Tandy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frinton's Sam Kennedy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Dersingham City's Ethan Best got a free kick in the 65th minute. Sam Kennedy was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Ethan Best capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ethan Best really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 76th minute, Dersingham City's Marcus Scrivener dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. If Marcus Scrivener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shaun Croyden's late challenge caught a Dersingham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shaun Croyden helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dersingham City booed when Frinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun Croyden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Frinton's zone, Marcus Scrivener stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sam Kennedy came out of the goal and Marcus Scrivener tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sam Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Tandy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Danny Banks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zaq Kerr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sam Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
