Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Connor Waddington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staffordshire Terrier FC's Brad Delaney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Lee Pennant in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Staffordshire Terrier FC's Gaz Weatherhead. When Gaz Weatherhead fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staffordshire Terrier FC's protests and gave Gaz Weatherhead a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Gaz Weatherhead got a free kick in the 20th minute. Brad Delaney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Connor Waddington's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Brad Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connor Waddington in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Frinton booed when Staffordshire Terrier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ashley Church didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shawn Clifford kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Staffordshire Terrier FC defense, Connor Waddington kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brad Delaney. The Staffordshire Terrier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brad Delaney should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Connor Waddington made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Frinton's Connor Waddington dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 64 minutes in the game Shaun Croyden did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Brendon Alderson. Connor Waddington could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Brad Delaney made a huge save. 82 minutes into the game, Lee Pennant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Gaz Weatherhead quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Rod Holland managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Danny Banks in the 88 minute of the game. In the 90th minute Shawn Clifford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Connor Waddington got free with Brad Delaney in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Staffordshire Terrier FC were furious when Blair Buckle was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Staffordshire Terrier FC! The goalkeeper, Brad Delaney, was totally fooled by Frinton's Connor Waddington, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Frinton's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
