Máximo Azeredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerry Cheeseman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes White Eagles FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Noel Broom who took care of the corner kick. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Gez Eyre elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nikolay Bonkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Buckley in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Garlic Eaters were awarded a corner. Noel Broom went to the cornerflag to take it. Pavol Stano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Matty Robson's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matty Robson helped the player get up and apologised. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matty Robson in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in White Eagles FC's zone, Pavol Stano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máximo Azeredo came out of the goal and Pavol Stano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikolay Bonkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Buckley in the 33rd minute of the match. Garlic Eaters's Gerry Cheeseman got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olly Shaw kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Máximo Azeredo came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Garlic Eaters's Fitz Lambley. But to his dismay, Fitz Lambley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerry Cheeseman in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when White Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffrey Barratt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Gerry Cheeseman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Garlic Eaters's Greg Gavan was substituted for Fitz Lambley. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matty Robson in the 61st minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máximo Azeredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Attwood in the 67th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Steve Buckley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the White Eagles FC and the Garlic Eaters players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Steve Buckley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jasper Attwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Greg Gavan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The supporters of White Eagles FC booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef Lewandowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. White Eagles FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
