In the 14th minute of the match The Handsome Wizards UTD got a corner. Ampthill FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Brady ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudio Antonangeli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Abeijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Potts in the 23rd minute of play forced The Handsome Wizards UTD's goalkeeper Marcial Cisquella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to The Handsome Wizards UTD getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Basiel Kindermans hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gez Little to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ampthill FC! When The Handsome Wizards UTD's Claudio Antonangeli in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A nice corner shot did that Marcus Brady got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Abeijon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 84th minute, Jack Potts made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Cisquella. The Handsome Wizards UTD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Handsome Wizards UTD's Claudio Antonangeli got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Antonangeli came free, but Bernardo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Claudio Antonangeli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Antonangeli in the 96th minute of play. The The Handsome Wizards UTD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ampthill FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
