Bristol Bombardiers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grant Tindale ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Grant Tindale got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mickey Thompson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Kentucky Fried Wings's Archie Greenwood in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tomislav Strahija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Lobb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Bristol Bombardiers FC's Kurt Lobb ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomislav Strahija. Tomislav Strahija yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Kentucky Fried Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Lobb came free, but Tomislav Strahija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyrone Howarth made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jake Hardcastle however managed to control. Denzil Welsh hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Archie Greenwood made a kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Kentucky Fried Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Jake Hardcastle came free, but Tomislav Strahija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Archie Greenwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Thompson having to interfere. Kentucky Fried Wings made a substitution. Mao Hong Kuan replaced Grant Tindale. 73 minutes into the match, Hugh Branston notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bristol Bombardiers FC's Mickey Thompson. Mickey Thompson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kentucky Fried Wings's Son van Basten got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomislav Strahija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Hardcastle in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Hardcastle in the 90th minute of play forced Kentucky Fried Wings's goalkeeper Tomislav Strahija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Manu Louke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bristol Bombardiers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manu Louke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th play minute Son van Basten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mickey Thompson. 1-3.
